Venture Capital Insure is a division of Shelly Alvarez Insurance. We provide you with insurance solutions to protect your venture capital funds.
Shelly Alvarez is a native Texan.
She was born in Freeport, Texas, but moved to San Antonio at a young age and has been there ever since. Shelly has been self-employed for years and loves being a business owner.
Shelly has an extensive financial background.
With years in the mortgage industry and as a commercial investment broker, Shelly decided it was time to follow her passion of opening her own business. Shelly Alvarez Insurance & Financial Services, PLLC, opened its doors in February 2008, with big plans.
Shelly’s work ethic and professional foundation were tools that she incorporated into Shelly Alvarez Insurance. She has worked hard to extensively grow the agency, by adding various specialized divisions, such as an Employee Benefits Division, Individual Insurance Division and a Financial Services Division.
Shelly’s extensive product knowledge enables her to assess your insurance needs and provide the best solution for your situation. She specializes in life insurance, employee benefits, business owner benefit plans and retirement planning.
Shelly ensures you will be provided with the best solution for your insurance portfolio. She does this with the highest level of customer service and follow up.
Giving back is most important.
Shelly loves to volunteer her time throughout the community. “Two things I personally enjoy in life are music and giving back to charity. A few years ago, I discovered the Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation, which has become a cause that I support wholeheartedly. One of my favorite musical groups, Il Divo, support this charitable cause, too. This made it a perfect fit.” Sanfilippo Syndrome is an ultra-rare genetic condition that causes fatal brain damage. It is called a childhood disease because most patients affected never reach adulthood. For more information about Sanfilippo Syndrome, visit Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation.
Shelly has received many awards of recognition for her work. She was most recently named a 2016 “40 Under 40” recipient by the San Antonio Business Journal. This award is one of the Business Journal’s most prestigious, with past winners like David Robinson, former San Antonio Spurs player, and Graham Weston of Rackspace.
